A Life of Love and Family
I’m blessed to be married to my true love, proving that some of the best things in life are worth waiting for. After over ten wonderful years together, I still marvel at how we found each other later in life. Marriage has been a gift, filled with love, laughter, and a partnership that feels like home.
Before I met my husband, my first taste of true love came from my incredible daughter. She’s my best friend, my confidant, and one of God’s greatest blessings to me. So, the bond we share is one I treasure beyond words.
My Journey: Military, Career, and Retirement
My path hasn’t always been straightforward, but it has been full of meaning. I’m a proud military veteran who served as a military police officer—a very different chapter in my life! After my time in the service, I earned a business degree and began a career in the secretarial field. Over the next 30+ years, I worked my way up to becoming an executive secretary before retiring.
Passions That Bring Joy
Writing has always been one of my passions, so I find joy in putting words together. Whether I’m crafting blog posts, leading Bible studies, or simply jotting down thoughts, I aim to connect with others. Also, I love spending time in the cozy world I’ve built for myself, surrounded by my three cats—Sami, AnnieBelle, and Charly. They bring so much light and laughter to my life.
Faith as My Foundation
My faith is the foundation of my life. I believe in Jesus Christ as the only way to the one true God. Thus, I’m always happy to talk about Him with anyone curious or seeking. My door and inbox are always open for conversations about faith, life, or anything else on your heart.
